Document Conversion
Pandoc – Pandoc is free software, released under the general public license. If you need to convert files from one markup format into another, Pandoc is your swiss-army knife. Amongst others, it allows you to convert your LaTeX script to HTML formats. Check out the Getting Started page and User’s Guide for instruction.
LaTeX2HTML – LaTeX2HTML is a convertor written in Perl that converts LaTeX documents to HTML. This way e.g. scientific papers – primarily typeset for printing – can be imported in PressBooks and be published as eSkript.

E-Pics – E-Pics is ETH Zürich‘s platform for digital and digitized photographs and images. Collections, archives, institutes and units of ETH Zürich as well as external partners manage and present their image holdings here. The majority of the images can be viewed publicly and researched by keyword.
Wikimedia Commons – Wikimedia Commons is an online repository of free-use images, sound, and other media files.
Flickr: Creative Commons – Access to all Flickr photos sorted by license. This allows you to find images under the public domain, non-commercial license, attribution license, etc. Make sure you select ‘Public Domain’ to find images that don’t require attribution.
Pixabay – All images and videos on Pixabay are released free of copyrights under Creative Commons CC0. You may download, modify, distribute, and use them royalty free for anything you like, even in commercial applications. Attribution is not required.
Pickup Image – Searchable database of public domain images. Contains a large collection of free photographs. You can download, copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.
Skitterphoto – License-free photos, free to use under Creative Commons CC0. Credit is appreciated, but not necessary.
