How to write your blog post

Blog posts

Each student attending  the “SDG in context” lecture writes a blog post that highlights an important aspect of one of the six themes. By choosing your thematic group, you will get be registered to author a “chapter” of this PolyBook. Here are the terms of reference for your blog post:

  • Informative title for your chapter
  • Your Name
  • Short lead in bold introducing your main argument (30-50 words)
  • Main text structured in 2-3 paragraphs headed by subtitles (500 – 800 words)
  • Picture, or photo for illustration with caption and source – > How to
  • 1-3 references or web links supporting your argument

The ETH futureblog is a good example.

 

Comments

Students write at least 2 constructive comments on two different blog posts within their topic (about 50 words each). This woks best if you write your comments offline and copy them into the comment window after spell check. Comments cannot be edited. Offensive discussions will be deleted.
