Lesson 8. Strong interaction.

Students should be able to:

  • Recall mathematical structure behind meson- and baryon multiplets
  • Use Clebsch-Gordan Coefficients to add up angular momenta
  • Differentiate between e+/e- colliders and hadron colliders
  • Identify particles in event displays in large detectors like CMS
