Students must write x Multiple Choice (MC) questions including an explanation for the correct solution. They must review x MC questions of their peers. The lecturer ‘accepts’ the questions.
If their x questions are accepted, they get 0.25 grade points. (Lernelement)
The lecturer may additionally choose to use students’ questions in the exam (or only use this as incentive).
- Students already gain a better understanding of the concepts of the lecture.
- Lecturer gets a pool of questions.
Students need an intro on how to write good MC questions.
Some students may need too much time to write MC questions.
It may be difficult to assess the quality of questions.
Another eSkript proposes many more scenarios for ‘Lernelemente‘.
