Contact and Support

The first step in getting a JupyterHub provided by LET is figuring out how you intend to use it.

There are three main use cases:

  • You simply want a space for your students to experiment or hand in simple assignments, and need no special arrangements.
  • You want to provide a variety of new files or notebooks to your students on an ongoing basis, and / or expect the files to change often. For cases like these, we provide the option to sync your students’ workspaces with a git repository using nbgitpuller.
  • You want your students to work with large amounts of raw data, such as when training a machine learning model. It is possible to embed an external NFS drive in your JupyterHub and use it to deliver data to your students directly, rather than copying gigabytes of identical training material into every student’s personal workspace.

You can also mix and match these technologies. We’re always happy to discuss with you which approach might best suit your needs.

Send us an e-mail to jupyterhub@ethz.ch and we’ll gladly set up your JupyterHub and discuss your needs in further detail. We’re also available for any questions you might still have.
