Lesson 5. Dynamics and friction.

Students should be able to:

  • Calculate the friction forces and use them to describe the motion of bodies.
  • Know the difference between static and kinetic friction.
  • Explain why air friction leads to a terminal velocity in a free fall problem to a colleague.
