Lesson 3. Circular motion. Forces

Students should be able to:

  • Draw “free-body diagrams” of forces acting on bodies.
  • Determine the resulting force via vector addition.
  • Determine the acceleration of a body from the force acting on it.
  • Use the equilibrium of forces to calculate constant velocities.
