- Use free-body diagrams and Newton’s laws to construct equations of motion and solve them in two dimensions.
- Calculate friction forces and use them for the description of motion phenomena.
- Discuss the difference between static and dynamic friction.
- Explain why the air resistivity leads to a maximal velocity in the free fall of objects.
