Lesson 5. Thermodynamics processes.

Students should be able to:

  • formulate the first law of thermodynamics.

  • Differentiate and describe isochoric, isobaric, isothermal and adiabatic processes, visualize these in a pV-diagram.

  • calculate heat and work in thermodynamic cycles.
