This is a short and very personal account on my support of the introduction of exams at the computer at our department D-HEST, ETHZ. The first chapter will tell you how it all began. An overview of the most irritating problems we encountered is to be found in the second chapter. Results of the survey launched in September 2014 are shown in the third chapter. The next chapter is an outlook on the future of the D-HEST computer exams. I left the last word to LET in chapter 5 where they mainly react to the lecturers’ survey’s comments.
