Students should be able to:
- Calculate the resulting net force as well as the acceleration acting on a body by applying vectorial addition and Newton’s laws.
- Identify and describe Newton’s laws in real-world examples.
- Draw “free-body diagrams” of forces acting on bodies.
- Construct and solve simple equations of motions based single forces.
- Use the equilibrium of forces to calculate constant velocities.
