3 Interactive Videos

When you use videos, there is the bonus of being able to make the videos interactive. To do this, you can use your own videos or use videos that are available on the Internet (e.g. from YouTube). The advantages are:

  • activation of the students
  • emphasis and focal points
  • checking understanding
  • additional material (pictures, text, links,…)

and it is easy to do.

A Real Example

This example is taken from the eSkript “Bewegungs- und Sportbiomechanik” (https://eskript.ethz.ch/bsb/). The videos were designed by the team around Dr. Silvio Lorenzetti, were filmed with ID MMS, and the interactivity was implemented by Barbara Postolka.
